This form uses an automatic central Government Eligibility Checking Service (ECS) to check your eligibility for free school meals only. The use of this service is permitted by sections 110 and 111 of the Education Act 2005 and it is an offence to use the service for any purpose other than checking eligibility for free school meals.

Trafford Council will use the information submitted to assess your eligibility for education benefits. To do this, we may need to share your information. We will do this in a way that protects your privacy.

Please be aware that if you are in receipt of working tax credit you are not eligible for Free School Meals.

If you are already in receipt of Free School Meals please do not submit a new application. Your entitlement award will be continuous and automatically reviewed every three months. If we require further information we will contact you. For enquires or change of circumstances please contact 0161 912 3265.
